Farber, the media head of the Federation
Internationale D’Escrime (FIE) yesterday
met the local media after overseeing preparations
for the Qatar Fencing World Cup in January
2004. The World Cup in Doha will be the
first ever to be held anywhere in this region
and Farber hoped it would provide a much-needed
fillip to the sport which for long has been
a bastion of the European countries. |
Otra vez Peña.
Gilberto Peña fue nuevamente electo presidente de la Federación Olímpica de
Esgrima de Puerto Rico. Peña esta en su 10mo término como Presidente de dicha
identidad deportiva. Increible verdad!!! Pero cierto. Hubo votos
mixtos y se declararon protestados no adjudicados. Tarea que se le dejo al COPUR
para la decision de adjudicar dichos votos. Un suceso nunca antes visto en la
historia del deporte Olímpico. |
