West Asian fencing body

Office-bearers announced

THE Qatar Fencing Association participated in a meeting held in Tabriz, Iran on July 12, wherein the formation of the Fencing Federation for West Asia was announced. Khalid Abdul Jabbar and Fahad Al-Mulla members of the Board of the Qatar Fencing Federation attended this meeting.

The following office-bearers were elected to the Board of Directors constituted at this meeting:

The meeting was also attended by Rene Roch of France, Chairman of the International Fencing Federation.
